The Great War Diaries of Charlie May edited by his great-nephew writer Gerry Harrison have been bought by Harper Collins.The diaries, which cover the period November 1915 to May’s death in July 1916, have been used only sparingly - most notably for the 2005 drama The Somme where May is one of the characters .10 Sep 2013

Dominic Adler’s thriller The Ninth Circle has become the latest bestseller for Thistle Publishing, having broken into the Amazon top 100, and continues to climb.

According to Publishers Marketplace’s list of agents internationally across all categories, Andrew Lownie is top with 29 reported deals in six months.
The agency is also first for UK non-fiction with 41 reported deals over the last twelve months - 27 deals ahead of its nearest competitor.
