Nowadays, stories of abductions by small, bug-eyed beings have become fashionable. This has led to an unbalanced perspective. In Alien Base, Timothy Good focuses on worldwide reports of encounters with extraterrestrial beings, beginning in the early 20th century, many published here for the first time, and shows that descriptions of alien beings are far more diverse than we suppose.
