Sooni Shroff-Gander Biography

Sooni Shroff-Gander, an Oxford-educated English literature graduate, has enjoyed a distinguished career as a journalist and editor, contributing to renowned publications such as the Financial Times and magazines in the Conde Nast Group. An enthusiastic cook and passionate traveller, Sooni brings her loves to life in her debut novel, "Beyond the Cypress Trees". This lusciously evocative summer read, set in an idyllic Tuscan villa, explores an older woman’s torrid affair with her much younger lover. Sooni is married with two children and splits her time between Switzerland and the South of France.
