Jonathan Mantle

Jonathan Mantle’s non-fiction books have been published in 30 countries and 16 languages.  They include three Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers and a US Book of the Month Club choice. 

Jonathan is of Anglo-Scottish descent and was educated at various schools and at Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he graduated with a B.A (Hons.) in English Literature.  His professional writing career began with a published novel and includes journalism for Listener, Spectator, Radio Times, Sunday Times Magazine, Evening Standard, Vogue, Harpers and Queen, Observer and South China Morning Post. 

His books ‘Car Wars’, ‘Benetton: the Family, The Business and the Brand’ and ‘Companies That Changed the World’ have achieved wide coverage and are frequently referenced.

Work as a contract book author includes industries as diverse as whisky, manufacturing, real estate and shipping.  

He is also a produced screenwriter and playwright.  As a speaker, he has featured in media around the world.  He is also a mentor to young writers and entrepreneurs.
