Gabriel Glickman first book, The English Catholic Community 1688-1745: Politics, Culture and Ideology, was published by Boydell & Brewer in 2009. He has published a series of academic articles focusing on the ideological debates that shaped questions of empire and foreign policy in Restoration England, and on the international context to the politics and religion of Early Modern Britain. He is a regular speaker at schools and historical societies outside the university setting, and has discussed his areas of expertise with contributions to BBC4’s The Stuarts in Exile, Radio 4’s Analysis, BBC1’s Who Do You Think You Are and the podcast 1666 and All That.
