Secret of Karabakh is set partly against the background of the invasion – in particular the massacre perpetrated by Armenian forces at the small town of Khojali in February 1992.

Besides being a writer, Fidan Bagirova is a sculptor and multimedia artist living and working in London and New York. Fidan’s art takes inspiration from nature and from cultural history.
