JFK: All the President's Assassins

President Trump's recent declassification of the final JOHN F.KENNEDY Assassination files allows us to finally know the who; the how; and the why; behind J.F.K.’s murder on November 22 1963. That is, as long as everything that has been released since 1975 is fitted together impartially, like a protracted jigsaw puzzle.

The Establishment camp, however, has remained an ostrich refusing to budge an inch from a deranged LEE HARVEY OSWALD acting alone, whilst the Conspiracy camp is just as stubbornly blinkered: Kennedy was a saint, the C.I.A. is evil, and Mobsters set up the Dallas ambush - whilst poor Oswald was framed.

This book presents an unbiased, clear-eyed explanation of the Assassination and its decades’ long aftermath. The truth can be found in between the two bitterly opposed camps - and it is all about Cuba. Dispassionate and unsentimental about J.F.K.’s flaws, Oswald’s Left-wing extremism, and the Far Right “Clique” on the fringes of the intelligence world that set the crime in motion, the authors outline the historical truth without fear or favour.

Oswald did fatally shoot J.F.K. but another shooter in Dealey Plaza, an anti-Castro mercenary, also fired from the County Records Building and twice missed – hence the ballistic evidence pointing only to the “Marxist Marine”. Oswald thought he was carrying out the wishes of his idol: FIDEL CASTRO in retaliation for the covert attempts on the latter’s life. In fact, Oswald had been duped by members of this C.I.A. “Clique” who posed as Castro’s “double agents” in order to mislead and manipulate a violent pro-Castroite into killing Kennedy.

The “Clique’s” goal was to frame the Cuban leader for the crime, thus triggering an American invasion to oust the Communist regime. But President LYNDON B. JOHNSON feared starting World War III and so The Warren Commission recast the – by then safely dead - assassin as just a “lone nut”. Within a few years liberal conspiracy “buffs” hijacked the story trying to prove Oswald was innocent (in fact, this high school dropout was the precursor to the violence of Leftist, college-educated revolutionaries later that decade).

Ironically the resulting obsession over “magic bullets” and blurry photos all helped the “Clique” to slip through the fingers of several more official investigations into Dallas. Consequently, none of the real plotters star in Oliver Stone’s “JFK” – which depicts rogue generals removing “dovish” J.F.K. to escalate the Viet-Nam War. Nonetheless, this Hollywood fantasy inspired Congress to order the staggered release of the rest of the files.

In 2021, family members of the second shooter produced the Italian rifle Oswald had used to practice shooting Kennedy – but because this bombshell revelation fitted neither J.F.K. camp, it did not garner national attention. This book is a chance to transcend entrenched misconceptions and thus bring the guilty to, at least, a posthumous justice.
